Description

Tunnel underpass under railway by jacking a reinforced concrete box under the Mediterranean Railway Line in La Granada (Barcelona), Spain.

The box , 9.60 m wide and weighing 2,380 tonnes, was jacked over a total length of 43 m using 14 hydraulic jacks, each with a 500-tonne capacity.
