Very particular shape with open cross section, due to an existing culvert in the centerline of the trajectory. Instead of a standard rectangular cross-section underpass, the structure in this particular case consisted of 2 footings connected with a horizontal diaphragm.

An existing old underpass from 1888 was demolished within the same weekend shutdown, prior to the jacking operations.
